Fairy Tail is a Japanese cartoon, also known as a Japanese manga series which is illustrated and written by Hiro Mashima. From August 2, 2016 to July 27, 2017, it was serialised in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine, with individual chapters collected and published into 63 volumes. The protagonist of the story is Natsu Drangeel, the story mainly revolves around his adventures, as he is a member of the popular wizard guild Fairy Tail, because he searches for the fictional world of Earth's land for the dragon Igneel. 

Produced by A-1 Pictures Dentsu Inc.,  Satelight, CloverWorks and Bridge, this manga series has been adapted into an anime series which began its broadcasting in Japan on October 12, 2009. Also A-1 has developed two animated feature films and nine original video animations. On March 30, 2013 the series ended its initial run. On April 5, 2014, on Tokyo TV a second series premiered and ended on March 26, 2016. The final and third series aired on October 7,2018 and lasted till September 29,2019. Numerous spin off manga have also been inspired by the series which includes a sequel storyboarded by Mashima, titled Fairy Tail : 100 Years Quest, which launched on July 25, 2018.
