Haikyu!! is a Japanese manga sequence written and illustrated through Haruichi Furudate. The story follows Shoyo Hinata, a boy decided to come to be a first-rate volleyball participant regardless of his small stature. It was once serialized in Shueisha Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2012 to July 2020, with its chapters amassed in forty-five tankobon volumes.
An anime tv sequence adaptation by means of Production I.G aired from April 2014 to September 2014, with 25 episodes. A 2nd season aired from October 2015 to March 2016, with 25 episodes. A 1/3 season aired from October 2016 to December 2016, with 10 episodes. A fourth season was once introduced throughout the Jump Festa '19 and was once deliberate for launch in two cours, the first cour of thirteen episodes aired from January to April 2020, and the 2nd cour of 12 episodes premiered in October 2020.In North America, the manga has been licensed with the aid of Viz Media, whilst the anime collection has been licensed for digital and domestic launch through Sentai Filmworks. Both the manga and anime have been met with fine response. The manga received the 61st Shogakukan Manga Award for excellent shonen manga in 2016. As of November 2020, Haikyu!! had over 50 million copies in circulation.
