Milne also went ahead to draft a poem about the character in the children's verse book When We Were Very Young (1924). Winnie ille Pu,published in 1958 was a translation of Winnie the Pooh in Latin and became the first and lone Latin book ever to be featured on The New York Times Bestseller's List. It was in 1961, Walt Disney Productions licenced certain film and rights of Winnie the Pooh from the capital of A.A. Milne. It adapted the Pooh stories into a series of features. It later became one of its most successful franchises.
